Pony Blues (Charley Patton, 1929)

';

Even if some of my lyrics are the same as those you find in Canned Heat’s version, I follow those I heard when I was discovering Patton, Son House’s version of the song and my favorite bluesman, Skip James, in the 60s. I play here the Stella Harmony H912 I bought from Subway Guitars (Berkeley). Our minimalist Walloon country band recalls the days when Europe was discovering blues thru British skiffle of Lonnie Donegan, Ken Colyer and others.
